Christmas Party 80's style!

Every year we have an annual ugly sweater Christmas party with some good friends of ours. Whoever wins the ugly sweater contest gets to host the party at there house the next year. This year we had it at the Browns house and they threw a little twist on it this year it was 80's and so much fun! Unfortunately me and the hubs didn't pull the win off :( but we had so much fun.

Thanksgiving 2011

We had such a great Thanksgiving this year, so much to be thankful for. Two beautiful babies a healthy and perfect pregnancy. I could just go on and on. This year was super low key we went to my parents house on thanksgiving day and then Friday we headed to the hubs moms house. I feel super blessed to to have such wonderful family and friends. Sorry this is short and sweet but I have a screaming baby who is hungry :)

Two months

Baby b you are two months old! Where is time going. You need to slow down. I am having the best time learning about little boys and your sweet personality. You are the BEST baby, you and your sister both were (are) great babies. I love fridays I get to spend the whole day with you it makes my week. You LOVE to eat, you still eat every three hours. You got to bed at about 8 and sleep till 2. That is your longest stretch, and then you get up once more to eat you nurse and go right back to sleep. At your two month appointment you weighed 13.5(92%) and 23 1/2 in long(51%), you are a big boy. Your eyes are still pretty blue, so we think you are going to have blue eyes just like me and your sister:) You wear mostly 6 months clothes, some 6-9 fit you though. I can't keep clothes that fit you! You wear size two diapers. You absolutely love your babysitter auntie ash. She is wonderful and you love being there. I can't wait to see what next month hold watching you grow. Slow down growing little boy I want you to stay little forever!

I guess I forgot that I even had a blog! I have been so busy trying to keep up with two kids, a house and oh did I mention I went back to work! BLAH! I am just trying to keep my head above water. I typically get about 5 hours a sleep a night by the time I go to sleep. I think there needs to be at least 40 hours in a day. Just so I could accomplish more! Anyways enough on my soap box. I am loving being a mommy of two! My heart has so much love for both of these little munchkins! So here's a quick run down of what we have been up to pretty much the past two months! I told myself I would never do this again! Its alot of work uploading all these pics! Kb has been such an awesome sister! Highly recommend having your kids 5 years apart def has alot of perks :)

B at his 2 month checkup he weighed 13.5 pounds(92%) and was 23 in long(51%) he is a growing and big boy! So thankful for a healthy baby

Braxtons birth story....a little late

I just want to write all this down so I don't forget anything! My actual due date was Sept 17th and there was just no way I was going to wait till then. I mean it has been the hottest summer here and I was SO tired of being pregnant. I did really good this pregnancy and only gained a total of 16 pounds and had lost all of it by the time B was a week old. Def not what happened this kb. I joke and say that I am now working on kbs baby weight but, I really am. Ill get there eventually right? Anyway, I had my weekly appointment on Friday. When I got there I was super nervous as I always am. My dr said he would "help" me out at my appointment if I wanted him to. (Ill spare you the gross details). So I was super nervous texting the hubby telling him I wish he would have been there. Low and behold he leaves work and surprises me at the dr office. Such a great hubby:) My dr checks me and I'm at a 4. WHAT! Not in any pain are you kidding me? So I get done with my exam and my dr says you need to go walk at the mall or something and try and get contractions going. Well, I didn't have any of my stuff with me not even a bag packed at home! So we run to wal-mart, go home pack our bags, check kb out of school and go and get me something to eat. I know from last time you ALWAYS eat before you go they starve you once you get there. However I had a rock star nurse that let me have a cherry limeade slush! We get there and get checked in and I'm at a 5, its about 2 in the afternoon by this point. So, I'm having contractions but they are totally bearable and Im not in any pain, so weird. I get all settled into my room and my nurse is asking me if I want an epidural, are you kidding me? um yes please! I felt so silly getting one because I really wasn't in alot of pain. By this time our families are starting to show up. My nurse request my epi and when the anesthesiologist gets there my contractions still aren't bad. I get my epi the dr is hanging out in the room to make sure my epi works. He had mentioned early that he had only ever had one epi not work and it happened to be on Monday. We all kinda laugh it off, was that meant to be a bad oman? My epi didn't work! We gave it a good 45 min to try and work and nothing! So, I had to end up getting two and my second one worked AMAZING! I was progressing great, my dr came in and broke my water. I was at a 7 and kinda got stuck there for about 2 hours. I started having really bad back labor. Like I could feel it even with an epi. My nurse checked me and B was turned sideways. His head was facing my towards my left leg, which was why I was having crazy back labor! My nurse had me turn from side to side for about an hour to help him turn and help me finish dilating. It worked like magic. She checked me and I was at a 10! I had such an overwhelming feeling that I was about to meet my baby boy! I pushed for 4 contractions and braxton was out! I am so glad he is here and was early. It feels like he has been with us forever! Right after I had him we let kb come in and meet him all by herself with just us. I wanted it to be special for her. With all of our family and friends there it was alot of people which I absolutely loved. I just wanted it to be super special for us and her. The look on her face is something I will remember forever! Here are some of the pics that my sis took of b's birth!

Look who lost a tooth!

How can this be?!?!? Two weeks ago school started, kb lost a tooth and B is probably making his appearance this week:( Life can you please slow down! She has been so excited about loosing a tooth and let me tell you she worked this puppy over! It was even that loose two days ago and Sunday after dinner she asked her dad to pull it! I think I was more nervous than she was. She did great and didn't even shed a tear :)

37 weeks full term!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along:37 weeks

Size of baby:6 1/3 pound and about 19 inches long

Weight gain/loss: I gained another pound in a week so I'm up to 15 I didn't want to go over 15 but I'm afraid its going to happen! Better than the 55 I gained with kb :)

Maternity clothes: absolutely

Movement: YES! This little boy is everywhere and he is LOW!

What I miss: Sleeping through the night and having to think about stuff before I eat it because it might give me heartburn!

Cravings: Blue bell fudge bars confession the other night I had 3! Also been drinking alot of strawberry banana smoothies.

Best moment this week: I almost have his room all finished:) sigh. I just haven't been that motivated to get stuff done and now I have waited till the last min and am huge! I also had my Dr appointment on Friday and I'm dilated to a two! My Dr said it would probably be on Friday or sat if I wanted it to be. There is one problem, it's the start of college football! So either have a baby or get to go to the football game? I really want to go to at least one football game :) Maybe b will make his grand appearance on Sunday it is my grandpas 80th bday and that would be super special! Who knows when they he will decide to come, I hope soon though I am beyond ready to meet him!

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 35/36 weeks

Size of baby: He weighs almost 6 pounds and is almost 18 1/2 inches long

Weight gain/lost: I have gained 3 more pounds so I'm up to 14 and I'm feeling every bit of it!

Maternity Clothes: Absolutely!

Movement: YES! This little guy is everywhere, and some of his movements hurt! He's getting to big to be in there I think;)

What I miss: Sleeping through the night and having my energy. Will it ever come back?

Cravings: Blue bell fudge bars and they have to be blue bell no other brand will do.

Best moment this week: I'm dilated! To a 1 1/2 wahoo! The end is near, and I can't wait to meet this little boy! At my Dr appointment this week we also found out that he is head down which makes me feel alot better!

I can't believe that the end is this close! I feel like in some ways it I have been pregnant forever and in other ways its gone by way to fast. I am trying to take in every moment with kb being an only child for a couple more weeks. I just can't imagine my life with two kids, but ready or not! I pretty much have his room finished I am in love with it and it turned out super cute!

Meet Miss Ella Harper! My sweet new niece! She is absolutely adorable and perfect in every way. She is the newest grand baby in almost 6 years to our family and we couldn't be more excited. I am so excited that her and baby b will be so close in age! They will probably be about 3 weeks apart! How fun. Sweet Ella we can't wait to watch you grow up and see all the amazing things you are going to do!

First day of school!

How is it possible that my sweet baby girl started school?!?! Seriously where has the last five years of my life gone? I just can't believe this day finally has come and gone and we are settling into a new routine. She was so excited the first morning wearing her backpack all morning long. She chose her outfit and bow that she wanted to wear and she looked like an absolute doll! Me and the hubs ate breakfast with her. Mickey mouse pancakes at the house her choice :) She helped me make her lunch. She chose a ham sandwitch,chips,strawberries and oranges. We all got ready and headed up to the school. I was an absolute nervous wreck! She was so excited so I was trying to act like it was no big deal. We got there and took some pictures got her all settled in her room. She started drawing a picture at her table and told me it was ok to go. WHAT! I am just suppose to leave?! I felt the tears starting to come on so I told her bye and started booking it down the hallway just trying to make it to the car before I lost it. I get halfway down the hallway I have left my phone and keys in the classroom. WHAT!?! I had to go back in the room which I'm glad I did, she didn't even realize I had come back in and she was playing with some little girls. It made this momma feel so much better. Needless to say I made it to my car and completely lost it there. Each day is getting a little easier and I can't wait to watch her grow this year!

Braxtons Baby Shower

About two weeks ago I had my baby shower. My amazing sister hosted it for me and it was AMAZING! I loved all the little detail and thought that she put into it! She did the colors of his nursery and it turned out so CUTE! She did a drop in shower which I absolutely loved. It was so nice I felt like I got to visit with everyone and was is no rush. I got some amazing things from so many people! I defiantly felt spoiled and am officially ready for this little guy to make an his debut! Thank you so much to everyone who came to share this special day for us! Sorry this is so short and sweet but today was kb's first day of kindergarten and this momma is pooped! I think I stressed myself out over it! I will post tom with her first day of kindergarten :)

The perfect weekend....

We had such a good weekend. It was filled with lots of down time and LOTS of family which I absolutely love. We are enjoying every minute with our family since we know we will be moving soon :( Me and Kb only have one more Friday together and it's killing me! I can't believe she starts kindergarden next week. I AM BEYOND EMOTIONAL! Friday we headed out and met Suz at her neighborhood pool with her and sweet kyah. I can't be outside unless its at the pool because it is SO hot on this preggy momma! Friday and sat night we headed out to watch the hubs little brother play football. It was so hot but so much fun, and I didn't even take me camera. Sunday we got up and headed out to the lake. The hubs dad lives out on the lake and his mom and her husband have jet skis so we all met up at at my FIL boat dock and hung out. I pretty much stayed on the shore line in the shade. It was so hot! The hubs and his parents get along really well so we all hang out together every once in a while. It makes it nice that they can all get along so well. My MIL new step-daughter was in town with her little boy so we got to meet her and hang out all day. She has a little boy who is a year younger then kb. Needless to say kb has a new little friend now. I hardly took any pictures, I have been so bad about it lately :/ We had a great time and I am looking forward to a low key week and weekend before my big girl starts kindergarden!

33/34 weeks

Weight gain/loss: I gained another 2 pounds at my last appointment so I am up to 11

Maternity clothes: You bet!

Movement: Oh my! does this little boy move. He is all over the place and it feels like he is rolling around everywhere. His fav spot is in my ribs :)

What I miss: Sleeping through the night and being my self. I feel like this summer I have kind of had to lay low, I'm ready to get back into the swing of things :)

Cravings: Fruit, and the occasional coke.

Best moment this week: I had an amazing baby shower that I need to post about!

This poor blog has been on the back burner all summer long and I am kicking myself over it. Wishing I would have stayed up with it. Between being busy every weekend, and trying to eat up as much time as possible with kb before this baby gets here it just hasn't been priority:( I keep promising myself that as soon as school starts I will get back into full swing. I just hope things slow down a bit before this braxton gets here!

31/32 weeks, Im way behind!

WHOA! I am so behind and where is time going?!? I didn't even take a 31 week pic :( However my girl suz had her baby shower and we got this cute pic together and this happen to be a day after I turned 31 weeks so this will be my 31 week pic! I seriously can't wait to see who has there baby first! I am just hoping that we don't' go into labor at the same time! Onto the good ole' preggy highlights!

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 32 weeks this little guy could seriously be here in five weeks! YIKES!

Size of baby: He weighs in at about 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long and taking up ALOT of room in my belly!

Weight gain/loss: HELLO weight gain you have not been very present but you are making yourself known now! So I went to my appointment last week and gained 4 pounds in two weeks! I actually had the nurse redo my weight because I thought how could I gain 4 pounds in two weeks! Well it didn't change! She tried to make me feel better by saying that I was probably retaining alot of water! HA! So I am up to 9 pounds.

Maternity clothes: Yep, most of my tops are still regular but my shorts are most def maternity.

Movement: Oh I think this little boy is running out of room in there, his little kicks are no longer kicks he rolls! Sometimes his rolls actually hurt!

What I miss: Sleeping through the night and not sleeping on my stomach. I can tell my energy is going away again :( Getting close to the end

Cravings: Nothing to crazy. Firehouse subs, I could eat one everyday and coke

Symptoms: Heartburn and contractions!

Best moment this week: Having sweet kb come and talk to her brother and feel him move. Her little face just lights up and she tells me she can't wait to hold him :)

I can't believe that this little boy will be here so soon. We can't wait to meet him! I have my last two week appointment this week and then start weekly appointments. YIKES! I remember when we first found out we were pregnant thinking this seemed like forever away. Now its just right around the corner! CAN'T WAIT!

30 weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 30 weeks! Its getting SO close :)

Size of baby: He is about 15.7 inches long and he weighs almost 3 pounds. I am feeling every 15.7 inches they say he is!

Weight gain/loss: Same

Maternity Clothes: ABSOLUTELY! They are super comfortable.

Movement: This little boy is getting big and his movements are just kicks anymore they are full blown rolls! His favorite little spot is up in my ribs!

What I miss: Sleeping through the night and feeling like myself!

Cravings: Nothing crazy, sushi, fruit and ice cream bars

Symptoms: HEARTBURN! They say the more heartburn you have the more hair your baby has however I didn't have a lick of hb with kb and this pregnancy I have had a ton. I'm going to say I might have a bald baby?!

Best Moment this week: We had a little girls trip to get away with some of my fav girls! It was so relaxing and just what I needed before this sweet baby boy gets here!

What a weekend.

Wow! What a crazy and fun 4th we had this year. It was super low key which is just what we all needed. I am starting to get tired again in the last trimester of this pregnancy. I just glad I have felt good this long. The hubby's mom got re-married this weekend so we started Friday off with a super simple ceremony at the church. There was just family there and it was so sweet. They were going to get married in an office at the church but, they have such pretty scenery that they decided to do it outside in the shade. It was at 10 in the morning so it wasn't too hot. It was short and sweet and they seem super happy together. Congrats Dan and Stephanie we couldn't be more happy for you!

After the wedding me and kb hit up the pool for a little bit while dad finished working and then we all met back up at my MIL house to go out and celebrate there big day.

Sat we got up early and headed over to my MIL house again and went swimming with the family. We got there way before everyone else so we had the pool all to ourselves. It was so nice to relax and I got to sit and watch kb and her dad play. It seriously is one of my favorite things to do. It makes me so happy seeing them together!

Sat night we all got together to go to dinner and did fireworks. All the cousins on the golf cart!

Monday morning it was pouring down rain and we didn't have anywhere to be. It was so nice we sat on the back porch just watching in rain and talking. It was the perfect ending to a perfect weekend with my two favorite people!

29 weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 29 weeks

Size of baby: This little baby boy is weighing in at 2 1/2 pounds and is a tad over 15 inches long! He's getting so big!

Weight loss/gain: I went to the Dr on Friday and I have gained another pound so I am up to 5. My goal is not to go over 15 so I hope I make it!

Maternity Clothes: You bet! Some stuff is still regular clothes. All the clothes I have on in this picture are. I try and buy stuff that I can still wear after I have the baby.

Movement: ALL THE TIME! He is starting to get some really hard kicks!

What I miss: UM..SLEEPING! I haven't slept the past week at all! I am so tired.

Cravings: The other day I had and I mean HAD to have a firehouse sub! So off we went for lunch it was soooo good :)

Symptoms: HEARTBURN CENTRAL! My back is starting to really hurt.

Best moment this week: Getting to hear his heart beat, and going to the Dr. I seriously LOVE my Dr he is so wonderful. Did I mention I'm measuring 31 weeks! HELLO big baby!

28 weeks

Pregnancy highlights:

How far along:28 weeks and feeling like I'm 40!

Size of baby: 2 pounds and about 14 1/2 inches long

Weight loss/gain: still the same 4 I do go to the Dr on Friday and I feel like this little boy is GROWING!

Maternity Clothes: Absolutely I can still wear some of my shirts but my shorts are just out of the question it hurts my stomach!

Movement: All the time he is one active little boy!

What I miss: Sleeping on my belly and having a good hard workout!

What I miss: Sleeping through the night. I'm waking up at least 3 times a night. I just want a couple more weeks of sleeping good :)

Cravings: Nothing really out of the ordinary.

Symptoms:Still having the crazy heartburn and LOTS of pressure. I have also been having contractions. I have been having them since about 18 weeks and they say its totally normal to have them your second baby.

Best moment this week: I am just feeling so grateful for being able to carry Braxton. It is such a blessing and when I feel like I just can't do it. I remind myself what an amazing God we have and what a miracle it is to be pregnant. I wouldn't be upset though if the summer flew by :)

Weekend Fun

What a fun filled weekend we had! It was crazy, but so much fun. It seems like we have something going on every weekend through out the summer and I LOVE IT. I am a total busy body and love to have something going on. We started our Friday off and went to the pool. Kb loves the pool and loves to go down the slide! It wears her out by the end of the day. It was way hot for this preggo so I pretty much stayed in the water the entire time!

I had to run and errand after the pool and came home to find this. My two fav's all snuggled up taking a nap! I told you the pool wears her out!

Saturday, we had a little get together at our house. We haven't really had anybody over since we moved and my birthday was a couple of weeks ago so we celebrated that as well with some of our dear friends. I always say this but, I seriously could not be blessed with better friends! Here is sweet Kyah I just love her to pieces. Suz her mom and I are pregnant together and due 5 days apart and both having little boys!

And here we are! I am so thankful that we are going through this together. I couldn't be more thankful to have such a sweet friend to be going through this crazy pregnancy with!

Sunday we got up and the hubs went to play golf with some friends so me and kb hung out all morning together just playing and watching cartoons. I keep trying to relish every little second with her and it just being us. I know it about to change so I am eating up every second. After the hubs got home from golfing I headed to the hospital to see our friend Danielle. She just had another precious baby girl number 4! I hope everyone had a great weekend and have a fabulous week!

27 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 27 weeks

Size of baby: He weighs about 2 pounds and is about 14 1/2 inches long.

Weight loss/gain: I gained a pound, I'm up to 4.

Maternity clothes: Yes, I love them there so comfy.

Movement: He is moving like crazy and he will do slow little movements and you can see him move across my belly. He is waking me up at night with his sweet little kicks :)

What I miss: Sleeping through the night and sleeping on my belly! I was at the pool this weekend and got on a raft and just laid on my belly! It felt oh so good.

Cravings: Alot of fresh fruit and tonight I had this major craving for some dibs, I didn't have any which is good because I probably would have eaten the whole bag :)

Symptoms: HEARTBURN! Seriously has got to go! I'm starting to get a bit uncomfortable. I was telling my Dr that at my visit this week and he said oh it only gets worse!

Best moment this week: Getting to hear his sweet heart beat and feeling him move everywhere. Did I mention I am trying to get his room together. I am finalizing his room colors and fabric for his bedding to get made! I can't wait.

I had a Dr appointment on Tuesday and it went really well. I had to take the glucose test and of course I failed it. Your blood sugar is suppose to be about 135 and mine was 165. SO....I get to go and take the three hour glucose test tom. FUN! I am not looking forward to it at all. This happened with kb to and I passed the second one so that's what I'm hoping for this time. Praying for no gestational diabetes. Also when I was at my appointment this week and we started to listen to Braxtons hb it was really slow! I got this really panicked look on my face and my Dr said wait just a second, and sure enough it went back up. He said sometimes they will grab the umbilical cord or sit on it and it makes there heart rate drop. Once they realize it they will let go or move to get off of it. I just amazes me how God constructed everything so perfect even when there in the womb! I have started to pick out colors for this sweet little boys room and I am getting so excited! I can't wait to see his sweet little face!

Happy fathers day! The hubby celebrated another wonderful fathers day! This is one of my favorite pictures of him and kb. Its the first time he ever held her! I LOVE the look on his face. Richard, thank you so much for being an amazing dad to Kb and soon to be little Braxton. You have sacrificed so much for all of us. Nothing I could ever say thank you enough for. How far along: 26 weeks! This pregnancy is flying by!
Size of baby: about 14 inches long! Hes a growing baby boy

Weight loss/gain: same blah!

Maternity clothes: ABSOLUTELY! I love them there so comfy!

Movement: Little b is moving everywhere. His favorite spot is up in my ribs on the right side. He LOVES to be up and moving at about 3 in the morning! Hopefully that won't be his favorite time of day when he gets here :)

What I miss: Well lately, sleeping, my shoes, not feeling like a whale! I know this is my last time to be pregnant, so as uncomfortable as I'm getting I'm trying to cherish every little moment!

Cravings: Nothing crazy, I haven't really been craving anything.

Symptoms: HEARTBURN! and it is bad!

Best moment this week: I felt this little guy have the hiccups! It is so sweet! I can't wait to meet this little boy!

Dance Recital

Well my baby girl finished another year of dance! I feel like we were just at recital a couple of months ago and a year has flown by. She LOVES taking dance,she does tap and ballet. She was so cute getting ready for the dance recital. She said "mom is this like toddlers and tiaras?" HAHA! She cracks me up. This is all boring detail but just so I can remember. She did a change in me off of the tangled movie, she got up there and completely forgot part of the dance and was watching her friends the whole time. Can I just add I think me and her dad our in BIG trouble when she is a teenager! I may be biased but I think she is beyond BEAUTIFUL!

Pregnancy highlights

Size of baby:13 1/2 inches and he weighs about a pound and half

Weight loss/gain: 3 pounds, I had a really good talk with my Dr at my appointment on Friday about my weight. He is not worried at all, he just says I started out bigger this time then last and I'm being pretty healthy this pregnancy and walking everyday so that's helping! I actually measured 27 weeks so little Braxton is growing!

Maternity clothes: YES! I love them they are so comfortable!

Movement: This is one active little boy, his favorite time to be moving is about 3 am!

What I miss: Sleeping thru the night and sleeping on my belly

Cravings: Fresh fruit

Symptoms: I am still having insane heartburn. Its driving me crazy.

Best moment this week: Getting to listen to sweet Braxtons heartbeat it was 135-140 it is seriously one of the sweetest sounds ever!

Weight loss/gain: Up to 5 pounds, I go to the Dr this Friday I'm afraid I really have gained more there scale always weighs more:/

Maternity Clothes: YES! I gave in this week and went and bought some the ole regular pants just weren't comfortable anymore.

Movement: OH YES! His new trick is being in my ribs and moving all around. I lay in bed at night and just feel him move all over it. I LOVE IT!

What I miss: Sleeping on my belly and through the night.

Cravings: I haven't been craving a ton. I do get full awfully fast though.

Symptoms: HELLO HEARTBURN. Its awful sometimes. I didn't have any heartburn with kb so its a little different this time around

Weight loss/gain: My scale said I gained another 2 pounds so I'm up to 3. I'm feeling huge!

Maternity clothes: Still wearing all my regular pants, however shirts are a different story! I have got to go and get some maternity clothes!

Movement: Little Braxton is all over the place these days! He is moving everywhere like crazy! I love it

Best moment this week: We had our medical ultrasound at my last appointment and it is for SURE a boy and he is healthy! Seeing kb light up when she saw her little brother on the ultrasound.

We have been having some insane rain here latley, so the chance to go outside we have been on it! Kb is so hilarious these days. I seriously have no idea where she come up with it, she has my just say whats on your mind attitude. Which in some cases can get her in trouble :/ but you will always know what on her little mind. As soon as she gets home from pre-school she most of the time immediatly changes her clothes and puts on her dress up stuff! She is def a girly girly, which I LOVE! The other night I was making dinner and as you can tell its super healthy. I mean pb&j and doritos. I should win mother of the year! I just didn't really feel like making anything, and know that I think about it I don't even think I made it. I think her dad did and I put the straw in her juice box! Anyways, we ate dinner outside because it was so nice and I just couldn't help it! These are the days I want to remember. Her sweet little self all dressed up so proud of how she looks in what she picked out, those little toes in those plastic shoes!

Being a complete goofball! I promise she does have manners when she eats!

Symptoms: I have started having mile contractions. I called my Dr this week and they said it was totally normal to have them your second pregnancy early on. There not bad just really uncomfortable

We have had a crazy busy week! Trying to catch up with everything from all the rain we have had here the past week. I am super pumped about Friday we have another ultrasound and I can't wait to see this little guy again!

I am finally feeling pregnant. My waist line is feeling like the size of a tire. I love feeling this little boy move around. I feel beyond blessed that God chose me to be kbs mom and now this sweet little boy. I seriously couldn't be happier and can't wait to meet this little boy! :)

We had a great Easter this year! KB is so much fun her little expressions just melt my heart every time! Every year we head down and go to church with my grandparents. They live in a really small town and go to this traditional baptist church. Our family takes up three pews at the church and probably increases there attendance by half! Its super small and everybody knows everybody, I love it. We got up early and did "the Easter bunny" Kb was so excited to see what he brought her!

After church everybody headed over to my aunts house for a huge lunch! We always have huge family get together at any holiday or birthday. I LOVE IT! Please excuse my husbands hideous mustache. I HATE IT and he knows it and was dong it to annoy me. Well mission accomplished. Easter 2011 family pic, FAIL!

KB and my sister

This is my mom, her mom and her sister. Love them all so much!

So about halfway through us being there kb said she didn't feel well! Great of course she wouldn't feel well on Easter. She was blazing hot and super flushed. We took her temp 102! Are you kidding me? So I asked her if anything hurt she said she had a headache, gave her some meds and we were finishing up our lunch. She seemed totally fine the rest of the time we were there. She wanted her pop to hold her I think its so sweet to see my g-pa hold her! Its precious. Low and behold I took her today and she has strep, so we were at home recovering from that at tom as well!

Our Easter egg hunt this year had to be inside. We have had an insane amount of rain. I mean like flooding everywhere. They are closing schools. Its crazy. So none the less kb still had a good time hunting Easter eggs even if it was inside. We are so blessed to be able to spend Easter with my family and remember the real reason that we celebrate Easter. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross and raising from the tomb so we can have eternal life!

My sweet Kb had her Easter party at school today. We had such a good time! I am so thankful that I get to go and do these little things at her school with her. Last night we went and got some eggs and filled them up with candy for the kids in her class. She was so excited that when she woke up this morning it was time for the Easter egg hunt! I love her little pre-school that she goes to and LOVE her teacher.

We came home after the Easter egg hunt and finished unpacking boxes and cleaned. Being pregnant and moving and keeping up with this house is just so much sometimes. I got it all done only for it to probably be a pit tom. Story of having kids right? At some point I need to get on here and catch up when I find some time. I am so behind! How far along: 18 weeks

Size of baby: About 5 1/2 inches long about the length of a bell pepper and weighs almost 7 ounces

Weight gain/loss: -2 I lost two pounds since my last appointment. I have been stressing about not gaining anything still. I asked my Dr and he was fine with it. As long as I am eating he says hes not concerned.

Movement: I'm feeling this little guy move everywhere! I'm loving it!

What I miss: I can't sleep on my belly anymore

Best moment this week: On Friday I had a Dr appointment and we got to find out the sex of the baby! It was SO exciting. We are happy to say we are having a BOY! I can't believe it. It will be so different then having a girl but, we can't wait! The hubby and kb are beyond thrilled to have a little boy coming into the family.

Symptoms: I am still getting sick at least 3 times a week, some days I feel SO tired!

Best moment this week: We have a Dr app. on Friday and I am going to literally BEG my Dr to take a peak to see what we are having its killing me not knowing!

I am so ready to get this blog caught up. We moved this past weekend and have ALOT going on. Kb has something going on every night mon-thurs, which makes having dinner and making it to bed on time pretty much impossible. I need to get caught up on life and post pics of the new house:) We are still moving in and we still have boxes EVERYWHERE. I feel like this week you can tell im getting a belly. I hate this stage in pregnancy. Its like did she pregnant or just gain some weight?! HA! Its totally worth it, the little miracle baby growing inside of me :)

Total weight gain: ZERO My dr was happy that I went my first trimester without gaining any weight
Maternity Clothes: None yet still wearing my regular jeans and everything, however I was shopping this week and tried on some maternity shorts. Um hello those things are COMFY!
Movement: Last week I could have sworn I felt little flutters but nothing big enough for me to say I am for sure its the baby
What I miss:Keeping my food down!
Cravings: Give me some carbs!
Sypmtoms: I still feel super tired every now and then. I also STILL have morning sickness at least 3-4 times a week. Hence prob not gaining any weight.
Best moment this week: We got to hear this sweet little babys heartbeat for the first time it was 148 and kicking around EVERYWHERE! The dr kept losing the heartbeat because the baby was going crazy at my appointment.
We have been out of town for spring break we took a little girls trip to San Antonio and stayed on the Riverwalk it was amazing and so much fun! We took my 14 weeks pic when we were on the riverwalk one night. I will catch up on vacation later, I just didn't want to get behind on these post considering I will be 15 weeks tom!

Total weight gain/lost: I'm up to -8 now! I am starting to feel so much better!

I have honestly felt so much better this week. I haven't been near as tired and only got sick two mornings this week! Which is huge for me. I have been sick most days almost all day sometimes. I'm so ready to feel like myself again and have a ton of energy. Kb has really gotten into the pregnancy these past couple of weeks she will kiss my belly every night before she goes to bed and, in the morning she will tell he/she good morning. Her and the hubby have been so wonderful since I have been so sick. The hubby will keep her entertained for hours while I nap or if I want to go to bed early. I seriously don't know what I would do without him. HE IS SO GOOD TO ME! I can't wait to find out the sex. Hopefully we will schedule that at my appointment this Friday! And please excuse this aweful picture, I was about to head to bed!

Wow Kb! Happy Birthday baby girl! I can't believe you are 5. Five years ago we were headed to the hospital where you were going to change our lives forever! Where has the last 5 years gone? I am beyond blessed to be your mommy. I have loved every second of it, the good times and the hard times when I thought it would never end :) I miss you being so little and being able to hold you like a little baby. You tell me when your 16 you will still sit in my lap and we will be best friends. I pray that we will. Me and your dad love you more than you will ever know. You have blessed our lives the past 5 years like we never would have ever imagined. You are a daddys girl. You love him so much and want to to everything he does. You love going shoppoing with mommy though too. I pray everyday for you that you become a women of God and that you always follow in his footsteps, and seek Him for guidance. You have a heart of gold. Always wanting to help people, or animals. The littlest things touch your heart and I love it. Your just like me in that way. You keep me and your dad on our toes, you are hilarious. You just love watching and going to the movies, its your favorite thing to do. What a crazy past couple of weeks we have had finding out that I am pregnant!It has been so fun! So, let me back up about 2 weeks ago. One of my best girlfriends Suz found out she was pregnant on New years day. She called me to let me know the great news and we were so excited! Me and the hubby have been trying for about a year to get pregnant and it just wasn't happening. We were talking about how fun it would be to be pregnant together! I was getting super disappointed every month thinking it wasn't going to happen. I actually called the Dr and had a doctors appointment to talk about what was going on and why we weren't getting pregnant. So fast forward a week. I'm a day late! I call Suz and tell her I'm so excited, I go and get about what seemed like 500 pregnancy test. ALL NEGATIVE. I just knew maybe I was, I was a day late. So the next day nothing! I'm trying not to get to excited, because I mean Ive been doing this for a year. LOTS of disappointment. So that night I head over to Suz house prego test in hand and take one and suz house. I tell her that she has to look at it. I'm so nervous the entire time. She goes over to look at it. She says "theres a faint line"! NO WAY!Me and suz talk about how we are literally six days apart in our pregnancy! God always amazes me! Me and suz are pregnant at the same time! I go take another one not really a line. I'm freaking out, my husbands out of town. I can't call him to tell him I'm pregnant. I wait till the next morning and take ANOTHER preggo test. TWO LINES! Oh my word! I'M PREGNANT! Hubbys out of town what do I do! I call my sisters and tell them. The hubby got home later that night. I wrapped up about 10 of the pregnancy test that I took and gave them to him! He was beyond excited!

We didn't tell KB as she is pretty much a megaphone. So we waited until later in the week to tell her and my parents at the same time.We went to dinner at there house. I got a big sister shirt and wrapped it up and had her open in front of my family! It took my mom and dad a second to get it. Everyone was screaming and just so ecstatic! My mom and dads face it PRICELESS! Kb on the other hand well not so excited. Hopefully she will warm up to the idea.

So, this has been so fun telling everybody that I am pregnant! We went out on Friday to celebrate Lanes birthday and I thought what a better time right? So me and Suz took a pregnancy pic together and put our due dates at the bottom. Lane opened it and was SOOOO surprised! Our whole table was yelling and I was crying! I'm sure the restaurant was wondering what was going on.

WOW! Is it really 2011?! I can't believe its already a new year. 2010 just flew by way to fast. We have so many memories from 2010 but, I am so excited about some of the changes that our family will be going through this year. I can't wait to see what God has in store for our little family :) We had a super low key NYE which was so perfect. Kb was sick all week long and I mean ALL week Christmas night to Thursday. So to have a low key night was just super perfect for me and the hubbs. We all went over to my girl Suz house hung out and played games. Sounds like were 80 huh? SO much fun though. I am so blessed with the best group of girlfriends anyone could ever ask for. sweet friends

CHRISTmas 2010 :)

What a great Christmas we had this year! We started Christmas eve by going to our churchs Chistmas service. Its family tradition and we go with my family! Its so nice to be able to remember the real reason we are celebrating Christmas, Jesus BIRTH! We headed over to my hubby's moms side of the family on Christmas eve after church. Its super low key and we always eat hang out and play games. So much fun making so many memories. Before we headed out for the night kb of course had to make cookies for Santa ;) She loves doing this! To see the look in her eyes of her trying to wrap her little mind around the idea of Santa is priceless! I LOVE IT!

We got home pretty late on CE and we all cuddled up in our bed to read "The Night Before Christmas". I love having our own little family traditions that we do. Kb knows now some of the little things we do every year and I just love it.

We had to get kb in bed so mommy and daddy could get Santa all set up!

This is what I look forward to every Christmas now that we have a child. The looks on her face! Her little face just says it all she is just soooo excited. She opens each gift with anticipation, and can't wait to see whats inside. Christmas day is always jam packed with family and Iwouldn't have it any other way. We start off by having Christmas with just the three of us, we then head over to have Christmas with the hubs dad. Then last but not least we head over for Christmas with my family.

Ok so I have to give the hubby some props. He TOTALLY surprised me. I asked for this ring probably a year ago and totally forgot about it. He always remembers little things that I ask for and then surprises me like a year later! But to top it off he got me that beautiful bracelet as well! Definitely spoiled me this Christmas :)

I just love love love the tree at my parents house. It may to some of you be the ugliest thing ever. My sweet mom gets us an ornament every year and there are six kids so thats ALOT of ornaments. There is also pretty much everything we have ever made as a kid on there! There are so many memories on that tree :)

We had some super exciting news at Christmas this year! My brother and his wife are expecting again. We are beyond excited and can't wait to meet there new little addition.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, as I reflect on this past year I have so much to be thankful for. I am beyond blessed with an amazing family and the best friends any girl could ask for. I can't wait to see what next year has in store for our family!

Well yesterday we loaded up and went for our annual Santa visit. This would be are 2nd Santa visit ever. Yes kb is almost 5! She never liked him until last year! Thank goodness she likes him know, because these are such precious pictures :) When we got there Santa was on his lunch break so we had to wait about 5 min for him. Kb was talking to me about what he probably ate at the food court that day! She saw him walking back and can I say the look on her face was priceless! OH MY WORD so adorable! Wish I would have had my camera out! She was in such anticipation this year to tell him what she wanted, she got all nervous and had to ask me what she had said earlier! Bless her heart! She had so much fun and we can't wait for Santa to come and visit our house!

Football,Family weekend!

What a great weekend we had together! I am realizing lately that life is flying by and I really need to it slow down. I have two younger brothers that are still in high school. One is on the football team and the other is in the band! Its so cute. Anyway, my brother that plays football is pretty good, actually he is a really good football player. They have made the state playoffs many times. It has been so fun watching him play the last 4 years. I can't believe that its over! Well this was a pretty big game. He was two touchdowns away from breaking the state receiving record! He did it!!!!!! It was such a big deal! So glad that my whole family was able to be there to see it! Zann, we are so proud of you and have had so much fun watching you play the last four years. I am going to miss having something to do on Friday nights, and miss kb cheering for you! We are so proud of what you have done and all of you accomplishments. Can't wait to watch you play college football!

We headed out to eat after the game and it was super late! This girl just couldn't stay awake!

Sat night we decided to stay in! we have been crazy busy and I just needed a night at home to catch up on house stuff and spend time together. I love having our own little family traditions. So every year we make a gingerbread house. Kb LOVES it and she loves eating the candy as she goes:)

And last but not least I still don't have my Christmas cards sent out! I am so behind on everything Christmas this year. So I think this is good as it gets for the ole family pic this year for the Christmas card!

Well better late then never right? We have been SOOOO busy! I am loving all the holidays coming up. It just flys by! We have something going on every weekend. I have so much to be thankful for this year. A great family, a wonderful husband and beautiful little girl! And can I mention my amazing friends I have been blessed with! We spend so much time with our family. We spent Thanksgiving with my family, which we loved. Kb has a great time playing with her cousins, and the hubs LOVES the food. Let me just say my family can cook! My sweet cousins were down here from England so it was alot of fun. There were about 28 people at our Thanksgiving this year, and that's not even everybody. We have to set up 4 different tables in the house just for everybody to site and eat! I LOVE IT! I just love being in a big family. We had a great time and ate way to much!(please excuse the horrible quality in these pics I messed up a setting on my camera and had it on 3mega pixels! I was so mad!) California 2010

We just got back from a great trip to California. My hubs grandparents live out in Southern California, and it is beautiful! We made it a pretty quick trip and were only there from Sunday- Thursday, we tried to fit a bunch of stuff in. Well that was the plan till Kb got sick :( My poor sweet little girl was sick almost the whole time we were there. We ended up just going to Disneyland and relaxing the rest of the time we were there. It ended up being perfect, that we got to relax. Which is what we all needed. The hubs got to play golf almost everyday and I got to SHOP! They have the best shopping out there. About to head out on the plane! Kb is always so good when we fly!

We got there late Sunday night and her grandparents had this giant mickey for her, she just loved it!

We ended up deciding we should go to Disney on Monday since kb wasn't feeling the best we figured we better go while she felt pretty good. Can I just say the look on her face the entire time is so priceless! We got there and 10 that morning and stayed till they closed. It was so fun yet SO exhausting. We had such a great time, our friends Nathan and Vanessa met up with us. Nathan and the hubs have been friends since about the 10th grade. They live in California now so when we go up and visit we always get to see them! We miss them and can't wait for them to move back.

On Tuesday we slept in and were trying to figure out what we were wanting to do that day. The boys went to go and play golf and I wanted to go to the beach SO bad. But with poor kb not feeling well we just played it low key. While the boys went golfing we went to grab some lunch and went shopping :) I shopped till I dropped and loved every second of it. Tuesday night we were going to go out with our friends Nathan and Vanessa for dinner. The hubs grandma asked if they could watch Kb while we went out on a date! Um...hello yes please! We got to go out on a date with our sweet friends and then went for some great desert, headed back to there house to catch up. We had such a great time with them!

I could live in California if it wasn't for the insane traffic that they have. The weather is beautiful and everything is blooming and um its November! Wed we got up and got around and I have this insane obsession with downtown areas and really wanted to check theres out. It was perfect. We did some great shopping and ate outside at this little Chinese place. I LOVED IT!

Wednesday night we had a little family get together at the grandparents house. My hubbys family is Hispanic. ( I know looking at him you couldn't tell but they are HA!) Anyway, we had chili verde,chips and salsa,rice,beans, and homade guacamole. I made homemade guacamole for the first time ever! My hubby's grandparents have and avocado,orange and lemon tree in there backyard! It was amazing! We had such a great time getting to see all of the family and getting to catch up with everybody. So funny when kb was playing with her cousins she stood out like a sore thumb with her blond hair and blue eyes! haha!

Happy birthday to my girl Suz! We had SOOO much fun! Suz hubby was so sweet and got us a hotel room for her birthday! We all got dressed up and went out to eat and had a blast! All the hubbies stayed home with the kids so us mommas could sleep in the next day! It was SO nice, and we def decided that we are going to do this once a year just for fun! Craft Fair Friday

Me and my sweet friend Jess loaded up this morning for this insane craft fair that they have where we live! I have never been to this craft fair, and for those of you who know where I live know how crazy this is. We got there fairly early and didn't really have to wait. We got the girls ready to go in the stroller and headed toward what looked like 1,000 white tents. It was SO fun just insanely overwhelming! So many people and us trying to push these strollers around like mad women shopping! Of course as soon as we got there we had to load up on some "healthy" food! The girls got corn dogs and they were so good! Me and Jess got this thing it was called and Indian taco. Oh my word! DELISH! It was so good! It was fried bread with ground beef and then you could pick the toppings that you wanted! I will get one every year!

{BUSY October}

October is in full swing around our house. I am loving fall so far. However it has still been a little hot for my liking! We are crazy busy during the fall with pumpkins patches, hanging out with friends, football, birthdays and trying to keep up with my sweet girl! Saturday was jammed packed full of fun stuff. I got up and ran some errands and Kb had her sweet friend Savannah's birthday party. It was a costume party, and let me say my friend jess can decorate for a party! Everything was so cute! Savannah is 3 and her and kb have the best time together! Happy birthday sweet Savannah!

We headed straight from the birthday party over to take pictures of my brother going to homecoming. Him and his girlfriend have been dating for two years! I love her to death and her family is so sweet! This is Claire and her sis Kate! Beautiful girls.

As soon as pictures were over I raced home to take kb to my sisters house to have a little sleep over with her! She had a blast ate junk food and stayed up late! We went out to dinner with our good friends Dustin and Suz. We always go out on double dates with them and let me tell you there's never a dull moments with our husbands. We went out for Suzs b-day! Her actual birthday is 10-10-10! We went to dinner at Bonefish and then to see a late movie! We had a great time and got to sleep in the next morning :)

So since everybodys birthday seems to be in October, we had family lunch for my SIL b-day she turned the big 28! Happy birthday Tara! Hopefully thing will slow down soon. My sweet girl is growing up way to fast I need it to slow down!

Homecoming

This last Friday my two younger brothers were on homecoming court! They went to the high school that I went to. Its a small private school, so you always see people that you know. It was fun running into old friends and catching up. It was a super busy day, but we had so much fun. My brothers looked SO handsome. Getting Creative

So this past weekend the razorback played #1 ranked Alabama. We ended up losing but kb was in style while we watched the game. I wanted something super cute for her to wear on game days and since she is such a girly girl, what better than a TUTU! It was the first one I have ever made. I think it turned out pretty cute :) She loved "helping" me make it! She threw on her sparkly TOMS and she looked ADORABLE!

My mom has been asking me to help take my brothers sr. pictures. I am by NO MEANS of photographer! We had so much fun though. I can't believe my little brother is all grown up and going away to college next year! Here is a little sneak peak for my mom :) Hope everyone else had a great weekend. I think it finally fall here I can' hardly wait!

Road Trip!

What a GREAT weekend we had! We headed down to the great state of good ole' Texas. We have some family that live down there. My brother plays high school football and he and his team got to play in the Cowboys stadium. Totally a once in a lifetime type thing! We had SO much fun! Sorry there are a ton of pictures. Me and my brother and SIL stayed with my aunt to and boy did we have fun! Saturday we got to do what I do best. SHOP! The boys stayed home and watched football. My sweet aunt who lives in Texas always takes us around to the best places to shop! Kb had her first Neiman Marcus experience :)

Sunday we got up and headed to Dallas and they have an awesome aquarium that we got to go to. They had all sorts of stuff KB and her cousin chloe loved it!

First Soccer Practice

My sweet little baby girl started soccer on Sat. It just seems like yesterday that she was 2! Now she is almost 5 and going to be a big kindergarten girl next year! She is in t-ball, dance and now soccer. She is trying to figure out what she likes the most. Hopefully soccer is going to be good. There are about 6 other little girls on the team, and its the cutest thing ever! They have no idea whats going on. Just running around kicking each other, it should be interesting to say the least. Can't wait to see if she REALLY likes soccer!

We went on a little family date tonight! We loaded up and went to the fair. Kb has never been before, she had a BLAST! Let me just say also the fair is NOT what it used to be when I was growing up at a kid. It was 8.00 to ride the farris wheel! Are you kidding me?! None the less we had a great time! She was tall enough to ride most of the rides by herself. I love this little face pure joy to her mamma!

ALOT! Oh my gosh this past week has been CRAZY! We have had a great time though. My hubby had to go out of town last week! He was gone Sun-Thur. That always makes for a long week. Kb always has a really hard time with it! They are best buds. So before he went out of town we went to a local place that has bowling, games and go carts. Kb had the best time!

On Wed. we loaded up and went to the drive thru safari that we have were we live. We went with Suz and Danielle. Danielle has a little girl and her and kb are the same age. They had a great time!

We had such a great time with all of those sweet girls! We will have to do it again, just maybe when its not 105 outside! Kb has been in swim lessons the past two weeks. Let me just say I never went to swim lessons and didn't really ever think kb needed to. However she was so scared of the water. By the end of the two weeks she was putting her face in, jumping of the diving bored and swimming with a little bit of help! We couldn't be more proud. Its so amazing to watch her grow!

Kb has been one busy girl! She was in her 3rd wedding this weekend and her dad was in it as well. The wedding was outside and let me say it was HOT! We all had a good time and our so happy for our friends!

Kb was the light of the reception! She was HILARIOUS! She couldn't wait for the reception because she knew there was going to be a DJ. She danced for 2 hours strait!

Wedding Season.

We are in full swing for wedding season! By the time summer is over we will have gone to 4 weddings. The hubby andkb are the next one and it is outside! It is going to be HOT! Every wedding we have been to this year has been outside. This is my sweet friend Kara we have been friends since Jr. High. There was a group of 4 of us that were really close in high school. She is the 3rd one to get married. One more to go. Your turn MEG! The wedding was so beautiful. It was in the shade thank goodness, because it was HOT! Dance Recital

Kb had her dance recital about a month ago! I am so behind. She looked ADORABLE. It was so much fun, except for when some little kids thought it would be funny to pull the fire alarm. Everybody had to evacuate the building. Did I mention it was seriously 100 degrees outside! I thought kb was going to melt! We all had a blast, she did a dance to "HOT HOT HOT". Chad and Kate came to see her and were so sweet and brought her flowers! Can't wait for next year!

We had a fun packed weekend! I LOVED IT! I love to be on the go all the time. We celebrated my brothers 30thb-day this weekend. I can't believe I have a brother that is 30. Where has all the time gone? We went to a BBQ at some friends house, went on a date together & of course LOTS of fireworks! We had a blast!

Well I turned the big 25 last week and so what better reason to get dressed up and go out! My sweet friend Suz planned all this for me! Which was so sweet and perfect. I low key night out with friends. Just what I LOVE! We all went to happy hour, then went to dinner and headed over to Suz house after dinner to hang out! SO MUCH FUN! We had some of our closets friends there which made the night so perfect! I can't believe I am 25, I feel so old!

You know being a parent there are some days that you just choose your battles. Here are a couple of mine lately. Kb has been in this express her own self stage I guess you could call it. Well here she is at her tball game with her fish sunglasses on! Making a fashion statement :)

Here she is being SUPER classy at a wedding we were at! Food sticking out of her mouth. Everybody at the table was laughing except for her dad. After I took the picture I quickly reminded her that we don't eat like this.

And last but not least. Pj's, undies and boots! All while brushing her teeth! The only problem with this is she wants to wear her boots EVERYWHERE as you can tell. I'm sure she will have many more "classy" moments to com!

Memorial Weekend

Whew! What a fun fun weekend we had! We went non stop from Friday till Monday. Friday our neighborhood pool opened so a bunch of us girls got together and headed down there. We had so much fun catching up and watching the kiddos play. Sat we got up and headed out to the lake my sweet friend Kate invited us out to her parents house. They are all so wonderful. We just love them. Kb had a great time swimming in the pool while we all grilled out chicken, hamburgers, corn you name it we had it! It was a blast. Sunday we slept in which was much needed. That afternoon we headed over to some the other good friends Dustin and suz. They hosted a cook out. A lot of people came the kiddos had a great time running around like crazy, swimming and roasting marsh mellows. We are so blessed for such wonderful friends! Monday the hubs let me sleep in till 10:30! It was amazing! Me and kb headed to the pool AGAIN! We headed over to my parents house for dinner, we always have a great time over there! Needless to say we have been on the go I am ready for a few days home! Sorry such a boring post I just wanted to remember what we did this weekend!

Summer Time

I am lovin this weather we had here this weekend. It totally felt like summer. Next weekend the pool officially opens but we went ahead and headed out this weekend and went to the pool ALL day sat. I loved every second of it! Thursday night we went and painted pottery. There is this really cool place downtown where we live, it is so adorable. You can do pottery, sew, all sorts of stuff. So glad we found it. We went with some girlfriends who I love dearly.

Saturday, we headed over to Kates house and went out to her parents house. They live out on the lake and have a pool. It was SO much fun. We are in definite need of swim lessons this year. Kb is still deathly afraid of the water :( She had fun none the less. She caught a frog, saw a snake, and sat on a horse!

Well this was kinda a different mothers day this year. Normally we get up and go to church with my grandparents down where they live. Since the hubster had surgery we laid low this morning and headed down and had lunch at my aunts house. I also can't believe that this is my 5th mothers day! WOW how time flys. Today was my dads birthday as well. Every 7 years it falls on mothers day! So,Happy Birthday to my sweet dad! Dad I love you so much. I'm glad I finally think you and mom aren't crazy! You have been the best dad I could ever ask for. Thanks for always being there for me. Thank you for being such a Godly example to our family, I love you more that you know! Happy Birthday! Happy Mothers day to my precious mom! I love you so much mom. You have truly taught me to be such a great mom. My mom is such a great friend and I am so blessed to have such a Godly example. I only hope that I can follow in her footsteps. Love you mom!

BUSY Week

What a crazy week we have had at our house! These pictures are all out of order and I am going on about 4 hours of sleep so they are going to stay out of order. The hubster went to the orthopedic Dr last week. He ended needed surgery on his shoulder. It was a really quick decision to do it this week. Everything went really well and we are at home recovering. He would kill me if he knew I took these pictures. He was so out of it bless his heart!

Kb thought it was hilarious that he had a "dress" on. A huge thanks to our sweet friends over at the Southern Maven for coming up to the hospital and wait with me while the hubster was in surgery. We seriously have been blessed with some AMAZING friends!

Oh boy are me and kb's dad going to have our hands full when she is a teenager with the boys. She has dance pictures this week and so she got to get all dolled up. She looked so adorable in her little costume! I am loving this age, SO MUCH fun! Her recital is coming up this summer and she can't wait!

This morning Kb's little pre-school had a Mothers day breakfast which was really sweet. We had a great time. I didn't think we were going to be able to go since the hubby had surgery but, his sweet g-ma came over to our house to stay with him so I could take kb. The hubsters g-ma also brought dinner for us tonight which was super sweet. She is an amazing cook! I feel so blessed to have so many amazing people in our life and such an amazing family. Thanks to everybody who has been calling and checking on us and bringing us dinner. It means the world to us!
